In 2003 Jérôme De Witt founded the Dewitt Manufactory, and within this short space of time DeWitt has made his mark in the elite circle of avant-garde luxury watch manufacturers. The words that most personify DeWitt are passion, curiosity, creative audacity and innovation. From the outset DeWitt watches have been instantly recognisable, innovative case and dial designs have set them apart from other manufacturers, and the fusion of tradition with innovation has resulted in superb collections revered by collectors worldwide. The rapid development of DeWitt has been fuelled by some exiting presentations in their short history. The Pressy Grande complication in 2003 and the Tourbillon Différentiel Academia, whose patented development won the Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix. As well as the usual watch making operations, DeWitt also has a fully fledged R&D department, allowing the company to maintain its innovative stance within the industry.
